My Legacy is my children.

As a young woman who became pregnant at 19, I gave birth to my first son, Davon, at just 20 years old. Life quickly became complicated and challenging. There were moments of uncertainty when I felt lost and made many mistakes, yet nothing brought me more joy than motherhood. When I was 26, I welcomed my second son, Aspyn, who tested my limits in every way. It was then that I realized the importance of taking a breath. Parenting brought me twice the joy but also twice the exhaustion, and I struggled to find my rhythm.

By the time I turned 32, I thought I had it figured out—until my third son, Zion, arrived like an incredible blessing from above. You might think I had it down by then, but I didn't. Zion gifted me with the power of patience and taught me how to breathe, think, process, and respond. He and his brothers became my teachers in many ways. They showed me the true meaning of unconditional love.

From the moment I held each of them after birth, I understood that the truest act of faith is love. That’s why my family and I often say that love is our religion. My greatest gift to this world is the immense love I have for my boys; they are my legacy. Thank you for allowing me to be your mom. It is my greatest honor.
