Transforming families
Aspyn’s Horizon LLC is dedicated to promoting health, mental well-being, and inner peace for individuals and communities in NYC through a variety of yoga practices. Our offerings include specialized workshops like our Parent and Teen Café, which fosters meaningful conversations that encourage healing within families, as well as trauma-informed yoga sessions for children.
We are excited to provide a range of workshops, trainings, and programs that nurture healing, well-being, and personal growth through self-love and self-care. Our holistic approach integrates practices that support the mind, body, and soul, creating a balanced path toward wellness.
Each of our workshops focuses on mind-body-soul healing techniques, including yoga, mindfulness meditation, affirmations, manifestations, mirror work, and shadow work. Our sessions incorporate breathwork, meditation, energy balancing, energy management, body tapping, and deep stretching. These methods are designed to open the mind and body, release tension, and foster resilience. By exploring past experiences and encouraging self-expression, our approach promotes overall well-being.
Benefits of These Activities Include:
Enhanced mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
Improved emotional resilience and stress management, reducing depression and negative self-talk.
Increased focus, concentration, organizational skills, and a deepened sense of purpose.
Emotional healing, self-awareness, and maturity through awakening practices.
With consistent practice and dedication, you’ll develop self-awareness and insights that enhance your ability to manage your body, mind, and spirit.
About Jenice Zayas
Born and raised in East Harlem, Jenice is a dedicated mother of three remarkable young men—Davon, Aspyn, and Zion. As a single mother, she has faced more than her share of obstacles, yet has navigated life’s challenges with unwavering resilience, choosing love and joy at every turn. Raising her sons in a community often labeled as “bad” has only strengthened her resolve, and their successes stand as proof that they've beaten the odds.
Jenice’s personal experiences, including encounters with bullying, domestic violence, hunger, the violent loss of loved ones, terminal illness, miscarriages, homelessness, and near-death experiences, have fueled her passion for helping others. Her life’s mission is to support her community through its own challenges with empathy, strength, and love.
As a single mother who has paved her own way, Jenice has become a passionate advocate for children and families. She understands the importance of services at every stage of development and has extensive experience navigating resources like Early Intervention, the Committee of Preschool Special Education, and the Department of Education. Over her 15-year career, she has served as an Early Intervention and Preschool Education Service Coordinator, worked with the D.O.E as a para and assistant teacher, and taught Pre-K through 1st grade in the Archdiocese. Jenice has also completed numerous training courses focused on child development and family needs.
Her goal is to create a safe, inclusive space for families to connect, bond, and engage in activities that support community healing. This space will allow families to voice their needs and connect to resources through collaborations with various local agencies. Jenice’s vision includes bridging gaps in East Harlem by increasing awareness of local groups, organizations, and businesses. She hopes that new partners in East Harlem will connect with Aspyn’s Horizon so she can guide families toward these valuable resources.
Currently a D.O.E. vendor and a certified Parent/Teen Café Facilitator, Jenice is passionate about supporting students in their transition from high school to college and the workforce. She offers individual and group classes, workshops, various series, and training programs tailored to their needs. Additionally, Jenice is CPR certified, ready to be of service to her community whenever needed.
